🂠 52th place on the GD05 2026 Regional in Brazil / September 20 2026 / DECKLIST
🂭 Introduction
The main strategy of this deck is to acquire value by abusing the (Shuffle Alliance) (Special Move) command cards, while using Domon, Overflowing affection, Gundam Maxter and Kapool to dig through your whole deck to get all the pieces you need. These cards also help to fill your trash with (Special Move) commands and (MF) units to fulfill Shining Gundam's conditions.
🃋 What's the gameplan?
🂠 Go 1st of 2nd?: This deck can work either way, first give you more aggression while second gives you more resources to work with, need to test more to get a more definitive conclusion. 🂠 Early game: You need to develop some sort of presence quickly since you will be eating a lot of hits to your face early on, so you need to destroy the units that have attacked on the clap back. 🂠 Mid game: Use the Shinning Finger together with the Shining Gundam link to keep your opponent from stabilizing a board. Do not waste the Shinning Finger combo, it is really powerful and forces you opponent to answer the Shining Gundam on board since it gives you so much value the longer it stays. Also keep in mind that the recursion the Shining Gundam provides is incredibly useful, even more so when grabbing a (Shuffle Alliance) command/pilot, so you're effectively getting a pilot back from your trash, same logic applies to the Gundam Maxter search but for your deck instead of trash. Abuse the (Shuffle Alliance) command/pilots a lot, even if it does not lead to a link just keep using them as soon as you have a good opportunity to. 🂠 Late game: Now it the time where you need to close the game up quickly, this deck chews through resources so you can lose steam really fast. Use the Shining Gundam (Super Mode) to even out all the shields you lost up to this point. Force your opponent to be on the defensive and keep harassing him with commands to keep him on his toes.
🃑 Mulligan and other tips
You really want to establish some kind of board early, so Kapool and/or Gundam Maxter in your opening hand, if not, Overflowing Affection can get you to them and fill your trash. Try to assemble the Shining Finger combo in your hand as soon as possible.
🃟 Why aren't you running X or Y card?
Even though he's really sick and I want to put him in the deck just because I really like him, I think he just does not fit. Not only that I would go as far to say that he does not have a deck yet, his Gundam has the (DG Cells) trait so Bandai most likely made him to mesh well with the eventual (DG Cells) Devil Gundam deck. But his gameplay just clashes with Domon, which is really flavorful if you think about it, in a way that I don't enjoy playing. Running him is the obvious top-end for this deck until God Gundam arrives to truly make a (Shuffle Alliance) deck work out, but I simply don't enjoy the deck running around Master Asia.
This card really wants Master Asia to work out on its full potential, but standalone it's pretty good! But you miss out on just how much value you can acquire from the (Shuffle Alliance) command/pilots. So your Domon, Gundam Maxter and Shining Gundam become weaker since they are not cheating in/recursing out a pilot and a command.
Since i'm not running Master Asia at the moment i'm still not sure about the Master Gundam. When you link him he can be really nasty, but without Master Asia he just sits there and gets Amuro'd before he can do anything.
